What the fudge was I thinking? 13 days over a sketch? I’m such a lousy planner.

Anyhow, this picture is a gift to WinterWinstar, who was generous enough to help me setup this new account and pay me a month’s subscription to boot. I know it was a gesture of friendship but, I felt it somehow needed to be repaid.

Emerald Fox was the one that attracted me the most out of all his deviations and learning that he suggested she might be a sister to Starfox’s Krystal, I knew I had to involve her as well.

I hope I did an adequate job of portraying Krystal telepathically controlling her mech and, as I thought it would be appropriate and fun, Emerald telekinetically controlling the visor, arrows and options (those wee little fighter planes swerving around her), by the way.

I started working on it, not thinking it would grow out to be this big. He’s seen a preview twice before now (As said, I’m such a weak person), since to me it was just taking too long designing and going over the lines again.

I’ve been designing the bow, the fox mech and my own (Starfox purists, read: never intended to be used or anything) version of the Arwing separately, only to discover the mech and the Arwing were only a small part of the equation. I’m not that good at making sleek and appealing machines anyway.

I hope you have fun making sense of this detail galore. It would make a lovely jigsaw puzzle.
